In 2021, the public learned that the artist was suffering from kidney failure. Two years later, on October 12, 2023, he underwent heart surgery — a difficult but successful procedure. In January 2025, he revealed that he had spent eight days in the hospital, exhausted but still fighting. This May, a new diagnosis was added to his list of health issues: diabetes.
